Swimming pools are a specialism in their own right for us — from initial excavation and structural groundworks through to the pool itself, the surrounds, terracing and the landscaping that ties it all together. We've delivered everything from standard installations to fully custom-built pools.

And we move quickly. Pools are exciting projects, and we don't believe in making clients wait a year to get started — many of our pools have gone from sign-off to diggers on site within weeks. Building Groundworks — 21 Years of It

We're not just landscapers — groundworks is where this business started, and it's what we've been doing for over two decades. Building groundworks is a different discipline from landscaping, and we do both properly.

We take on complete builder's groundworks packages — foundations, footings, drainage and slabs — for extensions and complete new-build houses up to plate level. We work with engineers and surveyors on setting out, and because we keep capacity in the team, we can mobilise fast: we recently fitted in the complete foundations for a sizeable new-build house at short notice, in amongst other jobs.

Our stonework has been recognised at the highest level — the Bothy we constructed at Plonks Farm met English Heritage standards and was awarded a blue plaque. We bring this same approach to every project.

We hold wholesale nursery accounts — many of them with growers who don't sell to the public — which means we can supply large trees and hedging at prices below retail, then install them professionally. Clients get better value and a better result than buying and planting separately.

We also have contacts on the continent, including a nursery in Belgium, so we can import large topiary, large trees and specialist pieces directly — the kind of specimens you simply can't buy off the shelf in the UK.
